Sean made his first appearance for Bawds in THE LADY IN THE VAN (Rufus). Other roles for the company include ABSENT FRIENDS (John), TERRA NOVA (pictured left as Henry R. Sean made his directorial debut for Bawds with his original play THE LAST TOSS OF THE COIN and followed this with IS THIS SEAT TAKEN? (3rd Place and Best Set Design - Sawston Drama Festival 2015; Best Actress, Lindsey McAuley and Backstage Award - Cambridge Drama Festival 2015; Best New Play at Welwyn Drama Festival 2015). In 2016 his new play CROSSWORD won Best New Play at Sawston Drama Festival; and Best New Play and Best Actress (Rosemary Eason) at Cambridge Drama Festival.. Other directing credits for the company include ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS, EMMA, ANYONE CAN DANCE Best New Play and Second Place at the 2017 Sawston Drama Festival; Best New Play, Second Place, Best Sound and Best Actor (James Inman) at the Cambridge Drama Festival 2017; and winner of the Eastern Region Final of the All England Theatre Festival. His most recent play KILLING HIM SOFTLY was awarded 2nd Place & Technical Award - 2019 Sawston Festival; 2nd Place, Best Comedy and Best New Play - 2019 Waltham Forest Festival of Theatre. Other directing credits include GUARDED (WriteOn Festival 2019).
